Onderstroom is a visually striking, tech-inspired journey through a near-future society where digital realities and human emotions collide. Against a backdrop of holograms, AI surveillance, and virtual memories, one woman battles the invisible forces of societal pressure, generational trauma, and personal loss to rediscover what it truly means to be human.
Onderstroom isn’t just a vision of the future; it’s a deeply symbolic exploration of the hidden emotional currents beneath our hyper-digital lives. Set in a technologically advanced Amsterdam, the film follows an Asian woman navigating a fragmented reality shaped by holographic memories, AI guardians, and data-driven societal control.
